Course Description

This 10-day Advanced Composites Training Course is designed to give experienced structural technicians, airframe mechanics or maintenance personnel the knowledge and practical skills to identify and repair damage to complex composite structures.

This course is aimed at those who will actually be assessing damage on composite parts and performing composite repairs.

The course is a mixture of theoretical and practical training which is delivered at our Training Centre at the Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire. Our approach to this kind of programme is to focus as much as possible on the practical training; and for this we utilise our specially designed composite facility to train up to 8 students in the latest techniques including:

• Damage Identification and Assessment
• Damage Removal and Core Removal Procedure
• Wet Lay Up Repair, Honeycomb Core Repair
• Hot Bonding Repair, Vacuum Bagging Procedures
