ACADEMIC ENGLISH

Our teaching team are experienced, enthusiastic professionals who believe in “student-centred” teaching. This means that each student has the opportunity to maximise his or her potential. Our goal is that each lesson must be effective, stimulating and enjoyable. These courses are to prepare students linguistically for their studies at a British University or other institute of Higher Education.

The course includes: 

• The production of clear and accurate written work

• Intensive reading practice both for gist and for specific  information

• Fluency, accuracy and confidence in spoken English

• Listening to spoken and pre-recorded English both for specific and general understanding

• Intensive grammar review

• An introduction to life and study in Britain

• Certificate and report
