EASA Category A1 Licence

An EASA Category A1 certifying licence permits the holder to issue certificates of release to service following minor scheduled line maintenance and defect rectification within the limits of tasks specifically endorsed on the authorisation. The certification privileges are restricted to work the holder has personally performed in a Part-145 organisation.

To allow your progression towards becoming a Category A1 licence holder, we are able to offer our approved EASA Part 66 Category A1 training course at the International Aviation Academy - Norwich in association with City College Norwich.

The purpose of the course is to teach the individual the basic theoretical knowledge required for the category A1 role. The course is split into 12 modules as seen below.
