Specifically focused on staff engaged with the daily handling of an organisation’s Part-145 approval, you will receive the latest thinking in how to practically apply the EASA Part 145 regulation. Our management system approach and holistic view offers an enhanced understanding of the intent of the regulation, so that on returning to your organisation you can:


-Explain why the regulation exists and what it is trying to achieve
-Describe the difference between being accountable and responsible for compliance
-Be clear about how your role fits within the regulatory requirements
-Stay ahead of the competition by knowing how to use the regulation to build a safe, effective and
performing organisation
-Examine and evaluate the impact of the human interface to reduce risks, errors and occurrences
-Increase your confidence to question the alignment of current processes and business practices

This is a practical application course designed for those within the CAW regulatory framework as
well as those that interact directly with CAW from the Air Op and IAW regimes. It is particularly
suited to:


-Staff involved with and interfacing between Part-145 and Part M.
-Staff moving to more responsible roles within the Part-145 or CAMO environment
-Quality Assurance System Staff & Auditors
-Quality Managers
-Entry level graduates, technical staff, Form 4 applicants, existing post holders and accountable
managers

-Regulatory Authority Managers, Inspecting Staff and Surveyors and those involved in Safety Audits

Prerequisites:


Basic understanding of EASA regulatory system, ideally including continuing airworthiness.
 
Course details


Course format: The course will follow the concept of facilitation as opposed to instruction. It is a
balanced mix of PowerPoint Presentations and challenging interactive exercises.
Course level: Practitioner Level Training (P) is suitable for those who have worked in the subject for
some time, are familiar with core terminologies and concepts and are looking to develop or update
their level of knowledge and practical understanding.
Assessment process: No formal assessment. Formative feedback is provided by the facilitator.
Course size: 16 persons maximum at our Aviation Safety Academy or on-site at your facility
