EASA Pilot Licence Validation - PLV
Course Description
The course enables the trainee to acquire and demonstrate knowledge of the relevant parts of EASA operational requirements and Part-FCL.
This course follows the guidelines for the validation of Flight Crew Licences as provided in the EU Air Crew Regulation under Annex III A.3.b.
Target Group
Non EASA Pilot licence holders in the process of having their ICAO compliant licence being validated by a National Authority in an EASA Member State.
Course Outline [Integrated]
This course provides an overview of the following elements:
• general development of international civil aviation systems over the years;
• responsibilities and activities of Federal, Central & National Regulators & Authorities;
• devolution of aviation Law by EU member states in favour of the EU Commission;
• the role of EASA & it’s Regulation Structure, annexes and subparts;
• current EU legislation and content of EASA regulations and parts;
• structure and content of Part-OPS and Part-FCL; and
• effective navigating methods through EASA’s regulations, parts and AMCs in the operational environment;
Course content complies with EU Air Crew Regulation under Annex III A.3.b.
Course Entry Requirements:
• Hold a pilot licence issued in compliance with the requirements of ICAO Annex 1.
