JOC / Airline Familiarisation Course

These courses are designed to take the newly qualified pilot from training school to a stage where you can comfortably attend your first interview. This will involve ground school (4 hours) and 12 hours on the flight simulator on either the B737 or A320 or a mix of the two if you wish. Appropriate ground school is provided for both aircraft and a JOC certificate is issued at the end of the course. The course is held over 3 days. Local accommodation is available. If you can find a partner to do the course with, there is a 25% discount of the normal cost of £2400. Please note, our simulators are not licensed which enables us to offer this course at this price point on this type of simulator.

If you do not need a full JOC course then we also offer an airline introductory course over 2 days which offers you 6 hours of simulator (3 on each of the B737 and A320) at a price of £1200 which again is discounted by 25% if you find a partner to do the course at the same time.

Hello. Hope you are well. I just wanted to drop an email to say “thank you” once again.

I went to the Jet2 assessment, did the first part successfully and then I went into the sim.

It was very good. Better than I anticipated. Steep turns, rate 1 turns, climb descent acceleration deceleration was almost bang on what you showed me most of the time… especially steep turn was like autopilot. Thanks to your idea adjusting bank angle and pitch together.

ILS was a little wobbly at the beginning was fine towards the go around and single engine ILS was much better. They also they asked me my position in relation to the VOR. Wow your tips were so accurate and I am massively grateful for your help with the assessment…
