Licence conversion from ICAO CPL/frozen ATPL to EASA

For ICAO CPL or frozen ATPL holders, the process varies depending on your background. You need to:

Attend our distance-learning ATPL theory course and pass 14 ATPL exams at the Civil Aviation Authority.
Pass an EASA Class 1 medical exam
Undergo conversion flight training (30-35 hours)
Pass an EASA ICAO English language proficiency test
Pass a skill test for the EASA CPL(A) and IR(A).
Apply for an EASA CPL license from the Civil Aviation Authority.
Expect a duration of 3-6 months and a cost of ca. 20-25,000 EUR without warranty, subject to change.

Prerequisites:

Your license must be valid at the time of conversion.

You'll need to have or obtain a Finland social security number.
