Flamingo Air’s Worker Bee Drone Training Program educates and trains drone operators on how to professionally, safely and responsibly operate in the National Aerospace System, and be sure that all FAA laws, regulations and safety standards are met.

Worker Bee offers 4 types of Drone training courses.

1. The Worker Bee Professional Course – $4200 – All sales are Non-Refundable

 5 Day Certification Program

Day 1 – Part 107 Test Prep, issuance of Part 107 Test Prep Book
Day 2 – Start the Build.  Identify Parts and what they do.  Set up Tools and Practice Soldering Techniques.
Day 3 – Drone construction and Troubleshooting Techniques
Day 4 – Drone Maintenance lab and completion of the construction of the Drone
Day 5 – Complete and Program the Drone, Test Flight.  Take the Part 107 FAA Remote Pilot Exam.

2. Worker Bee’s Test Prep and Flight Training Program – $1495.00 – All sales are Non-Refundable

This course is 2 days and includes actual Drone flight training.

Applicable regulations relating to small unmanned aircraft system rating privileges, limitations, and flight operation
Airspace classification and operating requirements, and flight restrictions affecting small unmanned aircraft operation
Aviation weather sources and effects of weather on small unmanned aircraft performance
Small unmanned aircraft loading and performance
Emergency procedures
Crew resource management
Radio communication procedures
Determining the performance of small unmanned aircraft
Physiological effects of drugs and alcohol
Aeronautical decision-making and judgment
Airport operations
Maintenance and preflight inspection procedures
Gleim UAS Drone Test Preparation ManualCertificate of Completion
Registration in FAA IACRA and completion of Form 8710-13 at the FAA IACRA Website.
The required FAA Aeronautical Knowledge Test.  This test must be taken at the Flamingo Air Test Center.

3. The Worker Bee Test Prep Class – $525.00 – All sales are Non-Refundable

4. The Worker Bee Recurrent Test Prep Class – $300 – All sales are Non-Refundable

If you are a FAA Certified Remote Pilot with a UAS rating, you must renew that certificate every 2 years.  If your certificate is expired, you cannot exercise your commercial privileges as a UAS pilot.

This class includes any new changes to the FAA UAS regulations as well as updates the material that is on the recurrent test.

This 4-hour class includes the $150.00 cost of the UGR – FAA Recurrent class.
