Course Benefits
The purpose of the course is to assist states in meeting their own search and rescue needs and obligation they accepted under the convention of ICAO. This will be achieved by providing SMCs with the required knowledge, skills and attitudes to carry out SMC function effectively and efficiency in accordance with ICAO Standard and Recommended Practices (SARPs). The proficiency of graduates will be maintained through periodic both paper as well as drill exercises.
