ATPL Theory

You will have approximately a minimum of 767 hours of ground instructions over 36 weeks. This stage is separated into three phases and provides you with essential knowledge and understanding in the following:

Phase I

• aircraft general knowledge
• VFR communications
• IFR communications

Phase III

• human performance
• instrumentation
• principles of flight
• air law

Phase III

• aircraft performance
• flight planning and monitoring
• operational procedures
• radio navigation
• general navigation
• mass and balance
• meteorology

DURATION

767 hours

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

• be at least 18 years old
• be fluent in English (Non British - UKVI IELTS 5.5)
• 5 GCSE's or an equivalent education
• EASA Class 1 Medical
