This workshop is a continuation of the ICAO/EUROCONTROL Airspace Concept workshop for PBN Implementation.  The 5 day training package ‘walks through’ the seventeen activities described in the handbook. 

The course is designed to highlight the fact that any PBN implementation is about teamwork and is a multi-disciplined task.  The workshop is based around an airspace change and aims to highlight to everyone that an implementation is just like a puzzle; no one person holds all the pieces. 

This message is enforced by a practical exercise where two teams will redesign a set of SIDs and STARs.  The exercise is aimed at highlighting the importance of good airspace design to reduce both controller and pilot workload.
