Aviation Engineering Level 3

This qualification is for candidates who work or want to work in the aeronautical engineering sector across a range of roles and career routes. The qualification allows candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the aeronautical engineering sector. Students will study the following curriculum subjects:

• Fundamentals of aircraft electrics, digital techniques and electronic instrument systems

• Fundamentals of civil aviation legislation

• Human factors in aviation

• Fundamentals of aircraft aerodynamics, structures and systems for turbine engines

• Fundamentals of aircraft gas turbine engines

• Fundamentals of aircraft propellers

Entry Requirements
You will need four GCSEs grades 9-4 including English and maths

Additional Details
- End tests, assignments, practical tasks are all examples of the types of assessments on this course.
