CAPTAINCY COURSE

COURSE APPROVAL
Approved by Vantage Aviation.
TARGET POPULATION
Government agencies, professional pilots and bodies.
PREREQUISITES
Qualified, current and experienced helicopter pilot (with crewman if needed) with spare capacity.
Holding an in date medical examination.
English spoken and written skills at least ICAO Level 4.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To enable the applicant to improve their captaincy skills - increase spare capacity, situational awareness and improve emergency handling.
COURSE DURATION
10 days, including 2 day refresher training for experienced operators.
GROUND TRAINING
5 Days Total - split into 10 half days.
FLIGHT TRAINING
10 Days; both day and night.
TRAINING SEQUENCE
The course can be conducted in the USA or UK or at the parent unit.
COURSE COMPLETION
On completion the students will be issued a certificate approved by Vantage Aviation.
