DECK LANDING TRAINING (DAY AND NIGHT)

COURSE APPROVAL
Approved by Vantage Aviation Limited.
TARGET POPULATION
Government, parapublic, private organisations
PREREQUISITES
Qualified, current and experienced helicopter pilot and crewman with spare capacity. Holding an in date medical examination.
English spoken and written skills at least ICAO Level 4.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To enable the applicant to safely perform operations aboard ships/vessels/yachts.
GROUND TRAINING
One day
FLIGHT TRAINING
3 - 8 sorties, depending on experience.
TRAINING SEQUENCE
The course can be conducted in the UK or USA or using the client’s own aircraft.
COURSE COMPLETION
On completion the students will be issued a certificate approved by Vantage Aviation.
COURSE CONTENT
Our instructors have been trained by the Fleet Air Arm of the British Royal Navy with a world wide reputation for professionalism and skill. Each captain has over 2000 deck landings conducted in all weathers, day and night. They are ready to tailor the course to fit

The applicants will receive ground instruction where the wealth of knowledge and techniques our instructors have gained will be given.

The flight training will take these concepts into the air with techniques applied to the type of aircraft and vessel of the applicant’s intended use.
