This training will allow the staff of the administrative and legal departments of the States, airports and airlines in charge of coordination with ICAO and other departments within their States and companies the knowledge, skills and attitudes for the implementation of a National System for Coordination and Response to ICAO Letters. This coordination is essential for the effective implementation of state-level and service-provider regulatory oversight as well as for ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Chicago Convention.

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

Categorize ICAO Letters to States;
Disseminate the letter of transmission and the ICAO Letter to the relevant national civil aviation institutions and bodies
Address the agreed response letter to ICAO
Submit a follow-up report to ICAO
