COURSE APPROVAL
Approved by CAA and / or FAA
TARGET POPULATION
Holders of FAA certificates/ratings (and EASA)
PREREQUISITES
Qualified and current helicopter pilot with spare capacity.
Holding an in date medical examination.
English spoken and written skills at least ICAO Level 4.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To enable the applicant to be prepared to pass the required theoretical exams and the skills test to obtain the desired licence.
COURSE DURATION
Varies dependent on current experience and qualifications of the applicant and what licencing is desired.

The number of hours for ground and flight training required can be determined for you after discussion with one of the members of our team.
TRAINING SEQUENCE
Usually will need require a course of study for the theoretical exams, flights with ground briefings to meet minimum hour requirements and prepare for skills test.
COURSE COMPLETION
On completion the students will be issued a certificate approved by Vantage Aviation.
COURSE CONTENT
When converting to an EASA licence, there are usually many theoretical exams to be taken as opposed to the FAA’s usual single exam per certificate/rating.  The applicant is recommended to take Vantage Aviation’s approved course of study to be able to take the exams.   The minimum hours of theoretical ground study required is dependent on the applicants situation.

The flight time required, varies as well, from only needing to complete time with an instructor to prepare for the skills test to the full hours requirement for the desired licence/rating.
