Take to the virtual skies with our helicopter flight simulator experience. Our Bell 206 Jetranger is an authentic flight simulator used for training real helicopter pilots. Fly a Bell Jetranger helicopter in virtual reality across Chicago or thread your way between the skyscrapers of Manhattan in our New York VR backdrop without leaving the ground at our base in Yorkshire!

Participant guidelines                                                                      Minimum age: 6 (under 12s must be accompanied by a paying adult)

You should not take part if you suffer from epilepsy, vertigo or are pregnant
You should be in reasonable health, if you have any disability or illness that may prevent you from taking part then you must discuss this with the centre before booking
Availability 

Helicopter flight simulator days take place on selected weekend and weekday dates approximately once a month from our base at Sherburn Aerodrome.

We advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. All bookings are subject to availability.

How long should I allow for this experience?
You should allow approximately 60 minutes for the whole experience.

Can I bring spectators?
Spectators are welcome our flight simulator enables viewing from the rear, where you can observe and comment on the pilot’s skills!

Additional information
Refreshments are not included, although snacks and drinks may be available to purchase at Sherburn aero club.

Your voucher is valid for twelve months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before your expiry date as vouchers may not be extended beyond their expiry.

The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to operational reasons.
