Practical training
Having passed the theoretical examination at LBA there are three years left to complete the practical training until its expiration.

The IR(A) practical training for one-engine aircraft contains 50 lesson hours of instrument flight training.

If you would like to acquire the IR(A) rating for MEP aircraft, the class rating MEP VFR (6 h) as well as an IR(A) MEP training are needed.

The training is structured into two modules, which can either be completed seperately or in a combined way:

Should you already hold a CPL(A) license or should you have already completed module A (basics on instrument flight), the training period is reduced by 10 lesson hours.
