Modular ATPL Course Overview

Modular ATPL Course is designed to take the new Pilot from 0 flying experience to a 'frozen ATPL' in approximately 12 to 14 months, by finishing this program you will be eligible to work as a First Officer with an airline once specific aircraft Type Rating training has been completed. ATPL modular course is a fully residential course which provide students with a PPL, CPL, ME, IR (together all of these are referred to as a Modular  ATPL).

Entry Requirements:

Minimum age of 17 years old
High School Degree or Equivalent
Aviation English Language Proficiency ​(ELP)*  
​Ability to pass Aviation Medical Class 1 Exams** 

*Aviation English Language Proficiency is arranged by Skies Aviation Academy during study period       

**Aviation Medical Examination is one day process and can be taken at our base with EASA aviation medical doctor.

Course Structure

Theory:

ATPL Theory is offered as a​ full-time course at our academy or as a distance learning DL.

Total  750 HOURS​

PPL    Ground School: 9 subjects​

ATPL  Ground School: 14 Subjects​

Flying Training:

• 45 hours on SE aircraft - PPL                            
• 5 hours on PA28 Warrior III - Night Rating            
• 87 hours on SE aircraft - Hour Building          
• 15 hours on PA-28, 8 hours on DA-42 plus 5 hours on FNPT II sim - ME CPL                    
• 15 hours on DA-42 ME aircraft and 30 hours on Alsim Alx sim (FNPT II)  - Instrument Rating (IR)   
• ME Instrument Rating Skill test
• ME CPL Skill Test
