MEPL Rating Course Overview
Multi-Engine (ME) Rating gives privileges to pilots existing Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) Licenses. The Multi Engine Piston (MEP) Rating is designed for those who like a little more speed, extended range, and the added safety and security of having two engines instead of one.
Entry Requirements
• Applicants must hold valid PPL with 70 hours PIC
• Medical Class 2*
*Aviation Medical Examination is one day process and can be taken at our base with EASA aviation medical doctor
Ground Training
Ground training comprises of 7 hours.
Flight Training
6 Hours Dual Flight Time, of which:
• 2½ hrs to be completed under normal conditions of multi-engine operation
• 3½ hrs to be completed on engine failure procedures and asymmetric flying
One Skill Test Flight with Examiner
Duration: 4 days
Course includes:
• 6 hours Flying Training
• Ground Theory plus written Exams
• Books and training kit needed for the course
