This foundation course is aimed at any professional tasked with delivering in-house training. It is equally suitable for those new to training and existing trainers who are looking to develop an additional skill set.

A. In our experience, confidence soars during the course. This, coupled with your deeper understanding of your role and the tools and techniques you learn will enable you to make learning fun, deal more effectively with difficult situations and adapt seamlessly to situations as they unfold, ultimately improving achievement of your learning objectives.
Q. I am already an experienced facilitator. Is this course suitable for me?
A. The course is not suitable for you if you are already an experienced facilitator or L&D professional unless you want to consolidate or refresh your learning.
Q. I don’t currently deliver training, but I’m interested in facilitating meetings more effectively. Will this course help me?
A. Yes – this course is ideal for anyone who wants meetings to be more productive, or who wants to develop their skills at diffusing tension, problem solving or creating engagement.

Course details

Course format: This course is a balanced mix of group discussions, flipchart work and PowerPoint presentations. Managed syndicate exercises give you the opportunity to practise the application and evaluation of new processes and techniques.
Course level: Foundation Level Training (F) is suitable for those with little or no prior knowledge of the subject who are looking to develop a fundamental level of understanding and competency.
Assessment process: No formal assessment. Formative feedback is provided by the facilitator.
Course size: 6 persons maximum at our Aviation Safety Academy or on-site at your facility.
