TYPE RATINGS

OVERVIEW

Almost unique in today’s training market, Centreline is an established charter operator which also offers type rating training. Our instructors are line pilots and have accumulated over 50,000 hours between them. Our Chief TKI is a former military pilot with extensive knowledge of both turbine and turbofan aircraft.

Centreline has successfully delivered over 500 on-aircraft type ratings on both CitationJets and King Airs. Our instructors impart years of experience of real life operations.

TYPE RATINGS

Both the King Air and CitationJets are single pilot high performance aeroplanes and can be operated as single- or multi-pilot. Centreline is able to offer training for both single- and multi-pilot endorsements.

Courses usually comprise three days of ground school, followed by an exam, then 10 hours of training on the aircraft followed by a skills test (LST). In some cases, those with appropriate experience may be eligible for an abridged course at a significantly reduced cost.

MEETING YOUR REQUIREMENTS

We operate seven days per week and run courses to meet our students’ schedules. Every detail is taken care of. This includes checking you meet the pre-entry requirements and liaising with various EASA state members to ensure your rating is issued in a timely fashion.
